New Faculty of Health Sciences (Location)

The new Faculty of Health Sciences, located in Alfara del Patriarca, will be built side by side with the current Dental Clinic and will cover more than 4400 constructed square meters. The new building will be the new centre for health-related degrees on the University CEU Cardenal Herrera campus and will provide the needed facilities for students and professors: clinics, practical classrooms and laboratories, as well as meeting rooms and research spaces.

The new building’s structure will include below-ground utility locations, 3 floors and an upper floor.

The current Faculty of Health Sciences is present in all the university’s campuses, located in the three provinces of the Region of Valencia (Castellón, Valencia and Alicante), and offers a wide range of degrees in the area of Health professions: Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy. Among these, the degrees in Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing offer at least part of its academic program in English.

The Faculty of Health Sciences already has state-of-the-art facilities in its current campuses. Among all of them, the Dental Clinic in Alfara del Patriarca (Valencia) or the Medicine facilities for Anatomy and Research. Apart from the classics for scientific experiments in laboratory, the Faculty is also equipped with modern teaching facilities like the Pharmacy Practice Room, a Laboratory for Analysis of the March (LAM) with Kinesiotherapy classrooms, a Room of Advanced Simulation or 3 classrooms equipped with 50 Preclinical dental phantom heads.

The construction of this new complex will provide new much-needed space for University CEU Cardenal Herrera‘s teachers, students and researchers.

New Clinical Veterinary Referral Hospital

The construction of the new Vet Clinic will cover over 8000 square meters and will provide the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine with new spaces for research and training as part of our university’s ongoing effort to expand its capacity. The new facility will occupy a plot located next to the future Faculty of Health Sciences.

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at University CEU Cardenal Herrera has over 18 years of experience in Veterinary education and it is accredited by the ANECA, member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).

In order to develop the teaching quality, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has widened their facilities in the last years with a teaching and research farm and a Clinical Veterinary Referral Hospital, which will soon be relocated to the new complex. In the new Vet Clinic, which will open 24/7, students will receive a practically-oriented training, fostering their participation in different services with specialised professionals who themselves are teachers at the university.
