Fifty professors from this Swedish University are annually awarded the Nobel prizes in Medicine, since 1895
Four representatives of the Karolinska Institutet from Sweden visited CEU Cardenal Herrera University in order to establish an academic agreement for collaboration of student exchange in the Health Sciences degree. The Karolinska Institutet is a worldwide reference university for research: more than 40 percent of the Swedish researches of scientific health are being carried out in this university. In addition, fifty professors of the Karolinska Institutet are annually awarded the Nobel Prizes, since its founding in 1895.
The Karolinska Institutet delegation that visited the CEU-UCH has been formed by the International Relations Coordinator, Malin Ahlén, the international coordinator of Dentistry studies, Stein Björkman, clinical supervisor, Lars-Erik Lindgren, and technical assistant, Kerstin Marklund. They expressed a particular interest in the facilities of the Dental Clinic of the CEU-UCH which they visited, and where the students of Odontología and Dentistry degrees carry out their practical training, bilingual grade that CEU-UCH also provides.
Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing and Physiotherapy
Their interest has also focused on the Degree in Medicine that CEU-UCH carries out in its headquarter in Castellón and other qualifications of the Faculty of Health Sciences. In the Karolinska Institutet, who has more than 6,000 students, is offering courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Physiotherapy, degrees that are also part of the CEU-UCH´s academic offer.
During their visit, representatives of the Karolinska Institutet were received by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the CEU-UCH, Alicia Lopez, coordinator of Dentistry, Arlinda Luzi, Erasmus coordinator of the degree, Chirag Sheth, professor who was responsible for the agreement, and members of the International Relations Office of the university.
