The meeting, organized by the Italian consul of Valencia, took place in the Palacio de Colomina at CEU-UCH

The Italian ambassador of Spain, Pietro Sebastiani, was introduced to several Italian businesses situated in Valencia, and the university too, at the Palacio de Colomina. Adriano Carbone, the honorary consul of Italy for Valencia, organized the conference on the 8th and 9th of March for the ambassador and representatives from the most prominent Italian businesses in the area. During the meeting, CEU-UCH raised the question of academic collaboration with these businesses through international internships for its students, since many of the businesses have already begun expansion plans for Latin American countries.

Academic Collaboration with the Businesses

Iñaki Bilbao, vice rector of Investigation and International Relations at CEU-UCH, and Salvatore Moccia, director of the International Relations Office, both attended the conference to encourage this academic collaboration with the businesses. The ambassador Sebastiani invited them to launch other lines of collaboration too, not only through internships, but also through collaboration with Italian universities.
