Students of the Master’s Degree in Product Design at CEU Valencia participe in the Habitat Valencia international fair. They will be exhibiting their works to the sector in a space devoted to young designers, among other participants from 9 schools and 12 studios.

This week a new edition of Nude will be inaugurated. 16 years at Feria Habitat Valencia have turned this exhibition space into the main showcase and creative incubator of the most innovative young creations in the field of habitat. And the School of Design of CEU Valencia is happy to participate, once again, showing the work of its students, along with other 8 schools around the world and 12 studios of young designers selected for this exhibition. From September 18 to 21, at Feria Valencia, the international habitat sector will be able to see the creations of the students of the Master’s Degree in Product Design.

This edition of Nude 2018 is devoted to new functionalities within the equipment for the habitat and the use of new materials and solutions for daily life. In this line, our School of Design introduces the work of its graduate students in the Master’s Degree in Product Design, carried out within the “Metamorphosis” project, directed by designer José Aranda, from Enblanc, with the collaboration of Juan Carlos Iñesta, from DOMANISES, who has produced the pieces, all made of a common material: ceramics.

In the CEU space in Nude, creations for the project “Metamorphosis” by students Alberto Valero, Alejandra Cabello, Andrea Ferrando, Clara Ramírez, Diego Castrillo, Guillem Picazo, Eliana Parada, Marta Gómez, Javier Alonso, Miguel Mojica, Tania López and Selena Lorente will be shown. In “Metamorphosis”,  students have looked out for new forms, materials, textures and processes, starting from a production of the ZEITGUISED study where an intersection between art and creation takes place and where the physical and digital space meet.

From that point, they have been making all the “anatomy” of this trend to be able to apply their characteristics to new products. From their ideas a series of objects for the habitat have arisen, following the observed trend, with some defined dimensions and using the common material ceramics.
