Son objectif est de transformer les d\u00e9chets g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s par la culture et la transformation des olives en produits durables \u00e0 forte valeur ajout\u00e9e, tels que des aliments pour animaux, des additifs fonctionnels, des emballages biod\u00e9gradables et du biogaz. Intitul\u00e9 \u00ab <strong>Repurposing OLIve WAste in circular economy solutions for feeds, additives, packaging, and biogas (OliWa)<\/strong> \u00bb, ce projet financ\u00e9 par des <strong>fonds europ\u00e9ens dans le cadre du <a href=\"https:\/\/prima-med.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">programme PRIMA<\/a><\/strong> rassemble 24 partenaires issus de 6 pays m\u00e9diterran\u00e9ens : Italie, Espagne, Gr\u00e8ce, Turquie, Tunisie et Alg\u00e9rie.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&#8217;\u00e9quipe du CEU UCH participant au <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/people\/OliWa-Project\/61576754888143\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">projet OliWa<\/a><\/strong> est compos\u00e9e de chercheurs du <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchceu.es\/grupos-lineas-investigacion\/investigacion-en-produccion-y-nutricion-animal-avifeed-science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">groupe AviFeed Science<\/a><\/strong>, sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans la production et la nutrition animales. Les principaux chercheurs du projet sont <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchceu.es\/directorio\/cgarces\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Carlos Garc\u00e9s Narro<\/a><\/strong>, professeur titulaire de production animale, et <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchceu.es\/directorio\/mariola\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mariola Soler Sanchis<\/a><\/strong>, professeure titulaire \u00e0 la facult\u00e9 de m\u00e9decine v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire du CEU UCH. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchceu.es\/directorio\/olga-piquer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Olga Piquer<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchceu.es\/directorio\/joseanto\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jos\u00e9 Antonio Garc\u00eda Bautista<\/a><\/strong> et <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchceu.es\/directorio\/maria-palomarlloris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mar\u00eda Palomar<\/a><\/strong>, tous trois docteurs, ainsi qu&#8217;<strong>Araceli Orozco<\/strong>, chercheuse en formation, font \u00e9galement partie de l&#8217;\u00e9quipe.   Dans le cadre de ce projet, le groupe AviFeed Science se chargera du d\u00e9veloppement d&#8217;<strong>aliments<\/strong> fonctionnels pour <strong>poules pondeuses<\/strong> contenant des <strong>extraits naturels d&#8217;olive<\/strong>, ainsi que des farines et des graisses d&#8217;insectes \u00e9lev\u00e9s sur des substrats d\u00e9riv\u00e9s des d\u00e9chets de l&#8217;oliveraie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Experts en nutrition aviaire<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchceu.es\/grupos-lineas-investigacion\/investigacion-en-produccion-y-nutricion-animal-avifeed-science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">groupe AviFeed Science du CEU UCH<\/a><\/strong> poss\u00e8de une vaste exp\u00e9rience dans la recherche sur la nutrition aviaire, avec de nombreuses \u00e9tudes sur le rendement zootechnique, la qualit\u00e9 des \u0153ufs, le bien-\u00eatre animal, la sant\u00e9 intestinale et le microbiote, en particulier chez les volailles. Pour son chercheur principal, le <strong>professeur <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchceu.es\/directorio\/cgarces\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Carlos Garc\u00e9s<\/a> du CEU UCH<\/strong>, \u00ab le projet OliWa nous offre une opportunit\u00e9 strat\u00e9gique pour consolider la recherche appliqu\u00e9e que nous menons au sein du groupe AviFeed Science dans le domaine agroalimentaire, et pour renforcer notre pr\u00e9sence internationale, en nous associant \u00e9galement \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9conomie circulaire, \u00e0 la durabilit\u00e9 et \u00e0 la production animale fonctionnelle \u00bb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Outre la conception, l&#8217;\u00e9valuation et la validation d&#8217;aliments pour poules pondeuses contenant des extraits naturels d&#8217;olive et des farines et graisses d&#8217;insectes, l&#8217;\u00e9quipe du CEU UCH assumera \u00e9galement d&#8217;autres t\u00e2ches, comme l&#8217;explique la <strong>professeure <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchceu.es\/directorio\/mariola\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mariola Soler<\/a><\/strong> : \u00ab Dans le cadre du projet, nous r\u00e9aliserons des \u00e9tudes sur la <strong>nutrition animale<\/strong> et des analyses physico-chimiques et sensorielles des \u0153ufs obtenus gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&#8217;utilisation de ces ingr\u00e9dients. Nous \u00e9valuerons \u00e9galement les effets nutraceutiques des extraits sur les produits animaux, notamment l&#8217;am\u00e9lioration du <strong>profil des acides gras et des antioxydants dans les \u0153ufs<\/strong>, puis nous transmettrons nos r\u00e9sultats aux producteurs locaux, afin de promouvoir des mod\u00e8les commerciaux durables dans le secteur agroalimentaire m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en \u00bb.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Le projet OliWa est financ\u00e9 par des fonds europ\u00e9ens dans le cadre du programme PRIMA et rassemble 24 partenaires issus de 6 pays m\u00e9diterran\u00e9ens : l&#8217;Italie, l&#8217;Espagne, la Gr\u00e8ce, la Turquie, la Tunisie et l&#8217;Alg\u00e9rie.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>OliWa : aliments pour animaux, emballages, biogaz<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Outre la formulation d&#8217;aliments pour animaux, tels que ceux qui seront con\u00e7us par les chercheurs du CEU UCH pour les poules pondeuses, le <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/OliwaPrima\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">projet OliWa<\/a><\/strong> analysera les <strong>effets antioxydants et antimicrobiens des extraits naturels d&#8217;olive<\/strong>. Il \u00e9valuera \u00e9galement le potentiel de l&#8217;\u00e9levage d&#8217;insectes sur les r\u00e9sidus d&#8217;olives, le d\u00e9veloppement d&#8217;emballages biod\u00e9gradables actifs enrichis en extraits naturels et en polysaccharides d\u00e9riv\u00e9s d&#8217;insectes et de r\u00e9sidus d&#8217;olives, ainsi que la production de biogaz \u00e0 partir de r\u00e9sidus d&#8217;insectes, de fumier et de sous-produits de l&#8217;olivier. La diffusion de ses r\u00e9sultats permettra de promouvoir de nouveaux mod\u00e8les commerciaux durables dans la r\u00e9gion m\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le projet OliWa, lanc\u00e9 en juin dernier pour une dur\u00e9e de trois ans, est financ\u00e9 \u00e0 hauteur de 4,5 millions d&#8217;euros par le <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/prima-med.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">programme europ\u00e9en PRIMA<\/a> (Partnership on Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area<\/strong>) et l&#8217;<strong>Union europ\u00e9enne<\/strong> (accord de subvention n\u00b0 2432 \u2014 OLIWA). Cette initiative europ\u00e9enne, coordonn\u00e9e par l&#8217;universit\u00e9 de Turin, a pour objectif de mettre en \u0153uvre des actions de R&amp;D&amp;I visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 et la durabilit\u00e9 des syst\u00e8mes agroalimentaires ainsi que la qualit\u00e9, la disponibilit\u00e9 et la gestion de l&#8217;eau dans la r\u00e9gion m\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne.
