With an already extensive experience in the sector, this 20-year-old student has worked as <em>sous chef<\/em> in Monte Pacis (Kaunas, Lithuania), has given classes on modern Lithuanian cuisine and has also worked with top-level caterers. As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchceu.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CEU student<\/a>, last summer\u00a0he\u00a0headed to Santander for a three-month placement in Casona del Jud\u00edo, under the orders of chef <strong>Sergio Bastard<\/strong> (two\u00a0<em>Repsol Suns<\/em>, a prestigious distinction given to the best restaurants and chefs).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-102340\" src=\"https:\/\/medios.uchceu.es\/actualidad-ceu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/01\/receta-TADAS.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/medios.uchceu.es\/actualidad-ceu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/01\/receta-TADAS.jpg 960w, https:\/\/medios.uchceu.es\/actualidad-ceu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/01\/receta-TADAS-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/medios.uchceu.es\/actualidad-ceu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/01\/receta-TADAS-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/medios.uchceu.es\/actualidad-ceu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/01\/receta-TADAS-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/medios.uchceu.es\/actualidad-ceu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/01\/receta-TADAS-696x696.jpg 696w, https:\/\/medios.uchceu.es\/actualidad-ceu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/01\/receta-TADAS-280x280.jpg 280w, https:\/\/medios.uchceu.es\/actualidad-ceu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/01\/receta-TADAS-420x420.jpg 420w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Proactiveness, personal initiative and online dissemination of your work are key factors in\u00a0our job, something we work on throughout\u00a0our degree so we can start building our personal brand&#8221;, says <strong>Jordi Ferrer<\/strong>, head of the degree&#8217;s culinary training.<\/p>\n<p>This renowned chef also\u00a0highlights the student&#8217;s<strong> great vocation and commitment<\/strong> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchceu.com\/en\/studies\/degree\/gastronomy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gastronomy<\/a>, something that\u00a0motivated him to\u00a0set out on a 3000-kilometer journey from his natal city of Kaunas to Castell\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I came&#8221;, adds Tadas Eidukevicius, &#8220;because of the number of Michelin stars Spain holds and because the Spanish cuisine is the perfect blend of tradition and avant-garde.
